Easter Sunday

Dearest Friends,

We hope you had an Easter filled with chocolates galore and of course an abundance of Easter cheer and blessings.

As you can see, the South African Easter Bunny was let out of lock down (just for the day) to fill the gardens in the neighbourhood with shrieks of delight as the small humans found chocolate treasures scattered all about.

The day bought about it such warmth not only from the weather but the time spent galloping about desperately searching for the Real Easter Bunny.

We have been given an extension on our lock down. We are all homebound until the end of April. In the darkness of that message, Easter Sunday's light lifted the heaviness of the news.

We send you all much love and strength through it all.

  1. Gosh, the Easter bunny has been very busy in your neck of the woods! I really miss doing Easter egg hunts now that my girls are older. Maybe one day with grandchildren?! Wishing you much happiness and sanity during the lockdown period. Stay well, my friend. xx

  2. Your Easter bunny is a generous one :-)
How lovely to see the joyful faces of your children, a happy day indeed. Our lockdown continues for the foreseeable future, too. I am ok with that but my children are getting a bit restless. Have a lovely week x

  3. Those smiles say it all, they're obviously very happy with the treats the Easter bunny left. I used to love the egg hunts when my kids were young, it's not quite the same now.
